What is the
difference between a broker and a real estate
agent? Every real estate
company has to have at least one broker. A
broker is a real estate agent with more
education (usually) in real estate and a higher license
with the state. Basically if a real estate
agent wants to own their own office, they need
to be licensed as a broker first. All
